Product Description
The 649-8 features a high band nine-element DF array, a low band five-element DF array plus a single omnidirectional monitoring antenna. Its high band DF array consists of nine vertically polarized fan elements that are housed in a low-loss radome. The radome also includes a broadband conical monitoring antenna and a broadband RF switch. In SMS or COMINT DF systems, the RF switch commutates signals from the DF elements to an external multi-channel DF/Monitoring receiver.
