The demand for spectrum bandwidth continues to rise as the number of wireless devices increases. Advances in wireless technology provide broader, more complex signals which compels Regulators to license higher bandwidths to alleviate crowding of traditional frequencies. The result is an increasingly challenging spectrum environment for Regulators to manage. As the value of the spectrum increases, so does the need to optimize spectrum utilization.

Spectrum Monitoring is the first step to optimizing spectrum utilization. TCI’s Model 739 is the next generation Compact Spectrum Monitoring System (CSMS) enabling Regulators to continuously monitor signals, analyze spectrum occupancy, and identify interference between 9 kHz and 8.5 GHz.

The Model 739 leverages TCI’s 50 year legacy of designing, deploying and maintaining spectrum monitoring and management solutions. The ITU-compliant Model 739 is built upon TCI’s field-proven 700 series spectrum monitoring systems and provides low size, weight and power (SWaP) enabling flexible mobile deployments and fixed installations.

The Model 739’s modular, scalable architecture provides monitoring, multi-channel direction finding and geolocation options that support hybrid AOA/TDOA systems.

The Model 739 utilizes new RF and digital technologies for high reliability, low system noise, dual 10/80 MHz instantaneous bandwidth and high system sensitivity. The Model 739 provides greater coverage per site, which requires fewer sites for a given coverage area. The result: minimized total cost of ownership.
