Building on the proven Blackbird/Surveyor capability and TCI’s world-leading geolocation technology, the TCI Model 350 Signal Survey, Recording, Geolocation and Analysis system combines precision RF hardware with the next generation of the original Blackbird/Surveyor software. The result is a fully integrated, COTS signal monitoring capability providing unparalleled signal survey, detection, visualization, wideband recording, geolocation, analysis and reporting.

TCI’s Blackbird software automatically scans the RF spectrum, detecting and cataloging all signal activity. Operators use the completely redesigned Blackbird GUI to view the spectrum and signal activity in list, spectrogram and map views using intuitive controls including touchscreen and gesture support. When configured with TCI’s Lookback Collection option, you’ll never miss a collect for a signal of interest since IQ data for any past signal can be extracted from the wideband storage array without interrupting wideband recording. Operators can then scroll “back in time” hours or even days and view spectral data, which is overlaid with the detection database results.

Simply point at any signal to pop up the signal characteristics, or use the Search pane to find live or past signals of interest based on specific signal characteristics. Blackbird operators can even use the optional Lookback Storage Array to go back in time to perform TDOA geolocation on past signals.

In addition, the Model 350 leverages original Blackbird/Surveyor data formats which are compatible with an installed base of third party and user-generated signal analysis packages.
