ASMS Analytics
ASMS Analytics MapPlus
ASMS-AIM

ASMS-AIM is a software module that enables the interface of the ASMS with third party accounting systems. The ASMS-AIM permits safe integration with SAGE 300 ERP 2018 or higher (ACCPAC), Sage X3 Version 11 and SAP Business One 9.2. In order to maintain security and data integrity the APIs or web services provided by the ERP/ Financial software are used. ASMS-AIM never talks directly to the database.

ASMS-AIM Prerequisites

  • ASMS-AIM shares the same ODBC connection used by ASMS. If ASMS is not installed in the workstation where ASMS-AIM is installed a new ODBC DSN needs to be created.
  • ASMS-AIM requires that an ACCPAC client should be installed in the workstation that will be used to run AIM. This is only required if interfacing with ACCPAC.
  • ASMS-AIM connects to the ASMS database to retrieve the data to be exported, so the ASMS server should be visible from the workstation used to run the interface.
  • ASMS-AIM needs to know the credentials used to connect to the financial package.

ASMS-AIM Features

  • ASMS-AIM allows the following data transfer:
    • Invoices from ASMS to SAGE 300 ERP 2018 (ACCPAC), Sage X3 Version 11 and SAP Business One 9.2
    • Receipts from ASMS to SAGE 300 ERP 2018 (ACCPAC), Sage X3 Version 11 and SAP Business One 9.2
    • Customers from ASMS to SAGE 300 ERP 2018 (ACCPAC), Sage X3 Version 11 and SAP Business One 9.2
  • Option to schedule a task at regular intervals to automatically export the information to the ERP/ Financial Software
  • ASMS-AIM provides different modes:
    • Preview: This mode allows generating as list of records that are candidate to be exported according to the date range specified.
    • Trial: When this option is executed, the batch will do a “trial” export to the financial package and will report an error if any record cannot be exported. All the errors are recorded in ASMS error log. However, please be aware that this option is only available while exporting to ACCPAC.
    • Final: ASMS-AIM final mode performs the actual update of the destination database. If required the final mode will only be allowed to export data if no errors are found in the export.
  • ASMS-AIM supports creation of multiple configurations that can be selected at run-time. This allows users to connect to test environments without modifying information in their production system.
ASMS WebCP

The WebCP (Web Customer Portal) option of ASMS enables your customers to complete and submit their license application over the Internet. In a standard browser window, WebCP displays the same data-entry forms with the same dynamic behavior as found in the ASMS. Since the applicant enters all required information on these dynamic forms, applications are complete and accurate upon submission. The WebCP administrator just needs to add the official information to an application in order to transfer it directly into the ASMS, ready for the official approvals process. This dramatically reduces data-entry costs and frees resources for planning and analysis tasks.

Minimize the workload and expense of handling license applications.

  • WebCP consists of a web server, website software and an e-mail agent
  • It supports three levels of user access:
    • Super user (grants access to administrators)
    • Administrator (grants access to applicants via a registration page on the website)
    • Applicant

Minimum Requirements

  • TCI ASMS
  • Two external fixed IP addresses
  • One SMTP email account
  • Broadband Internet connection

Key Features

  • Enables your customer to perform all application data entry
  • Sends customizable e-mails automatically to all parties at key points in the process
  • Page-level validation (“to do” lists)
  • Help windows provided for every screen
  • Current license holders can log in to apply for license modification and license renewal
  • Supports OAuth Authentication for mail servers
ASMS Analytics

ASMS Analytics is a software module that allows the user to view and analyze the data from the ASMS database. The easy-to-use graphical user interface is divided into selectable dashboards that group similar data for easy viewing and analysis. Convenient drill-down menus enable the user to narrow or expand the data set and select a wide variety of additional details to be presented. A powerful search feature lets the user search by client name, type, license number, and more.

ASMS Analytics runs on the Microsoft® PowerBI® platform and data can be exported for presentations, further analysis, and other uses.

Note that the Microsoft® PowerBI® application is required to use ASMS Analytics. There are three kinds of Power BI per-user licenses: Free, Pro, and Premium Per User. Which type of license a user needs is determined by where content is stored, how they’ll interact with that content, and if that content uses Premium features.

ASMS Analytics MapPlus

MapPlus is an add-on module for the TCI ASMS, which allows map information generated by the ASMS to be viewed in the Google Earth™ mapping service. With the MapPlus option, every ASMS map screen contains an “Export to Google Earth” button. Clicking this button generates a file in KMZ format containing the current data (for example, stations, links, or calculated field strength).

ASMS then launches Google Earth, which displays the KMZ data over its terrain map. The operator can zoom, pan, and “fly” over the data set in Google Earth’s three-dimensional space. This makes it easy to:

  • Verify station coordinates against surface landmarks
  • Visualize broadcast field strengths in relation to population centers
  • Verify line-of-sight visibility between stations on the latest satellite maps

Add context to spectrum data with Google Earth terrain.

Minimum Requirements

  • TCI ASMS
  • Esri™ ArcGIS™ Engine and Spatial Analyst (included with MapPlus)

Product Description

Master the Spectrum for Greater Spectral Utilization and Higher Licensing Revenues Safety.

Traditionally, spectrum management has largely focused on static allocation; co-existence arrangements enforced through fixed geographic and spectral boundaries. Consequently, spectrum measurements are typically short-term ad hoc efforts to collect snapshots of incumbent spectrum usage in particular frequency bands.

Spectrum crunch brought on by new radio access technologies (wider instantaneous bandwidth, network densification, small cells, massive MIMO, low power transmitters) and use cases (wider coverage, mobility, hotspots, QoE, QoS) demand a dynamic approach to spectrum management.

ITU Type 3 Utility Van

ITU Type 3 Van

Type 3 MMS are based on commercial van platforms, which enables the installation of the most sophisticated monitoring applications in line with and beyond ITU recommendations.

  • The available space in vans allows a wide range of customization options; on many occasions, customers have
communicated their own preferences for interior layout.
  • TCI has delivered a number of different configurations of Type 3 MMS based on several different van platforms, with the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter being the vehicle most preferred by customers.
Contact Us

Product Description

TCI has developed two standard layouts for van-based MMS for up to 3.5 tons GVWR. These layouts are similar and only differ in the operator seating and desk arrangement. Layout L has one operator desk installed on the partition wall and one desk on the sidewall. Layout I have both operator desks installed on the partition wall, which makes more storage space available. The type of layout chosen will depend on customer preference and the anticipated mission types. Having both operator positions facing forward may be more convenient for on-the-move operations, while the L shaped layout provides more operator space during standing monitoring operations.

The two most common decisions to be made when selecting the van platform for mobile monitoring station is the size and the required payload of the van. Commercial vans are available in a number of sizes and gross vehicle weight ratings (GVWR). Customers often prefer to fit as much as possible into a standard van (up to 3.5 tons) because it is easier to drive a smaller van within confined city areas
and they normally do not require a special driver’s license.

ITU Type 2 SUV

ITU Type 2 SUV

TCI’s Type 2 MMS are based on 4x4 SUV-type passenger vehicles and accommodate significant spectrum monitoring and geolocation capabilities in line with ITU recommendations.

  • When considering the choice of the Type 2 MMS, the primary factors for Type 2 stations are capabilities required and available payload to install these.
  • Type 2 MMS are based on heavy-duty 4×4 utility vehicles (SUV) for improved off-road capabilities.
Contact Us

Product Description

Type 2 MMS vehicles undergo complex modifications to house significant mobile monitoring and geolocation capabilities on an all-terrain vehicles in the frequency range from 9 kHz to 40 GHz. A typical Type 2 MMS provides up to three operator positions, one next to the driver and two in the second row of seats. All operator positions face forward and allow comfortable operations even during larger and longer missions. Main operator positions are equipped with folding and distance adjustable worktops, dedicated worktop and ambient LED lighting. A control panel is positioned for convenience between the operator positions to monitor the onboard power status, provide control of lights and mast up/down operations among other functions. The front operator position is equipped with a rugged laptop holder, which allows homing DF and other “on-the-move” missions to be executed and monitored by both the driver and an operator.

The layout design of TCI’s Type 2 MMS balances the load added to the vehicle between the two vehicle axles. This load is carefully planned and monitored to be strictly within the vehicle manufacturer’s weigh limitations. The mast carrying TCI’s monitoring and direction finding antenna is positioned in the center of vehicle to balance the weight perfectly between the front and rear axles. The onboard battery is positioned between the two rear operator seats on the central axis of vehicle for even weight distribution. The equipment rack and storage cabinet are placed in the vehicle’s rear trunk and ensures that weight is distributed along the vehicle as designed by the vehicle manufacturer when the MMS is on the mission in a full setting.
The onboard power system plays a critical role in the undertaking of a monitoring mission. The power must be ensured indefinitely for monitoring and geolocations systems and ensure operator comfort. Type 2 MMS is powered from at least these three power sources: (1) engine alternator, (2) onboard battery, and (3) external power working independently and in parallel. TCI’s power system ensures continuous power and seamless switching from one source to the other. On-board battery system provides autonomous and quite operations for more than 3 hours.

TCI design ensures utmost care for operator comfort and safety. Operator seating is not limited by modifications and comfort remains the same as provided by original vehicle. All equipment installation points are reinforced for unlikely scenarios during accidents. Raised mast warning system prevents accidental movement with elevated mast. Appropriate lighting ensures visibility for operations during the dark hours, inside and outside.

TCI’s Type 2 MMS is the most popular and versatile monitoring station employed by operators around the globe to conduct the most demanding missions within crowded cities and hard to access areas.
