Antenna Systems
Regional Short Wave
Short wave broadcasters using a relatively low cost Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) system can provide an FM-quality signal over a regional area much larger than that of a conventional VHF FM station that has coverage limited to line of sight. For example, one 50 kW DRM transmitter with a TCI Model 615 Omni-Directional Antenna could cover a large portion of the U.S. East Coast.
All current existing TCI Broadcast antennas are DRM compatible.
